Awards and Publications for the Overall writings

1)     An Achievement award by Tanjore Ramasamy Mariammal Educational Trust in 2008.
2)     The Best Novelist Award – Awarded in the Book Fair conducted by the Neiveli Lignite Mine.
3)     Felicitated in the Golden Jubilee Publication of the Daily Thanimani under column “Thanjai Eentta Thangangal” in 2007.  That column includes Solai Sundaraperumal with Kalingnar M. Marunanithi, Semmangudi Seenivasa Iyyar and Uu.Ve. Saminatha Iyyar.
4)     ‘Sennel’ was one among the best ten novels in Tamil Published in the Kumudham Deepavali Edition – 2006.  The top ten includes “Pradhaba Muthaliyar Sarithiram” by Vethanayagam Pillai.  The jury was Venkat Saminathan.
5)     ‘Sennel’ was selected one of the best ten novels in Tamil by T.K. Sivasankaran published in the “Semmalar Pongal Edition” in 2006.
6)     The Short Story “Mannasai” was prescribed for the Tamil Supplementary Reader from 1999 to 2012.
7)     “Sennel” was included in the Syllabus for Graduate and Post Graduate courses in the universities such as Bharathithasan University, Madurai Kamaraj Unversity, Bharathiyar University, Manomaniam Sundaranar University and some antinomies universities.
8)     Scholars from different universities are doing research in my works.


Translation

1)     The novel “Sennel” was translated in Malayalam by L.B. Samy.
2)     The same novel “Sennel” was translated in English by Dr. Thomas.  The Reviewer for this translation was the well known translator Latha Ramakrishnan.
